Do You Have A Cooling Off Period?
Yes. After you sign-up and register, you still have 14 days cooling off period, where cancellation of our services is free of charge, for any reason. If you cancel this agreement at any time after the 14 working day cooling off period for any reason, we may charge a reasonable cancellation charge for costs and work undertaken to the point of cancellation. The cost will be charged at £15 per hours work with a maximum charge of £150 (10 Hours).
I don't know if I have any paperwork, can you still help?
Yes, we may still be able to help you. We will need some very basic information from you. We then obtain all of the relevant information from the relevant partners which will enable us to make the claim on your behalf.
How far back can you claim for failed pension transfers?
Standard limitation is 6 years from the original transfer, however, we may still be able to find a regulatory claim. Our advisors will be able to tell you more during your free assessment.
The company that advised me to transfer my pension is no longer trading, can you still help?
Yes. We are experts in helping in this sort of situation. If your advisers are no longer trading we have the option to take your case to the FSCS – Financial Services Compensation Scheme. If the adviser is still trading we will direct your claim to the Financial Ombudsman Services.
How much money will I get back?
This all depends on the amount transferred and the circumstances of the transfer including your personal circumstances at the time. We always endeavour to claim any capital losses, plus any lost interest and compensation for the mis-sale. If the claim is submitted to the FSCS the maximum compensation awarded will be £85,000, if the claim is with the FOS remit the maximum award will be £150,000.
